Choose Your Own Adventure
We are pleased to offer our "Choose Your Own Adventure" Day Program as part of our Adventure Challenge Camp. Our Adventure Challenge campers are asked to pick one of the following programs that will run as a Full Day activity during their session. With regards to limited availability for some of the programs, we do ask that "Choose Your Own Adventure" activities be pre-selected at the time of registration.
White-Water Rafting: A Trip like none other! Rafting is an exciting activity combining teamwork and communication. Campers in our Adventure Challenge camp can chose to conquer class two/three rapids on either the Cheakamus or Elaho River just north of Squamish. This truly is an experience of a life-time and a great way to enjoy some of Squamish’s beautiful surroundings. Rafting instruction and equipment is operated by Sunwolf Rafting. An in-depth safety briefing is given before the trip and all rafting is under the supervision of trained professionals.Cheakamus River – Appropriate for Campers aged 10-12. Elaho River – Appropriate for Campers aged 12-15
Sea Kayaking: Explore what the beautiful Howe Sound has to offer! This three-hour guided tour is a scenic excursion that will take campers on a magnificent mountain-view paddle around Bowen Island. Campers will see some of BC’s spectacular wildlife such as sea otters, deer, starfish - all surrounded by an undisturbed coastline. Sea Kayaking instruction and equipment is operated by Bowen Island Sea-Kayaking. Appropriate for all ages.
Zip-Trekking: Ever wanted to fly? Well Ziptrekking is the way to go! This exciting activity offers exclusive access to areas of untouched ancient coastal temperate rainforest. Glide along the steel ziplines suspended high above the breathtaking white-water river that divides Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Campers can even zip around from tree tops upside down! Zip-Trekking instruction and equipment is operated by Zip-Trek EcoTours. Appropriate for all ages.
