Camp Facilities, Summit Outdoor Education Centre

Summit Outdoor Education Centre is located on a beautiful 24 acre site that is surrounded by majestic mountains in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. The site is 80 minutes north of Vancouver tourismvancouver.com and is an hour south of Whistler whistler-blackcomb.com.

Site Facilities

The Summit site boasts a Climbing and Sheltered-Bouldering Wall, Low Ropes Course, High-Ropes Course, Playing field, Archery range, Initiative and Orienteering Courses, Campfire Circles, Mountain Bike and Interpretive Hiking Trails. All of these facilities are available to your group.

Accommodations

Groups of up to 144 can be housed in our spacious platform tent cabins (May through June, and late-August to October). The Cabins are placed in 2 ‘village’ groupings and each village has a separate, detached bathroom building located directly behind the tenting area. The bathrooms buildings boast electricity hot and cold running water and showers. Once your group has booked dates for your stay Summit Outdoor Education Centre will provide your group with an extensive clothing list to ensure you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay.

Meals

While at Camp Summit Outdoor Education Centre your group will be provided with healthy, fun and delicious meals in our dining hall. We definitely understand the importance of a hearty meal when you are being active outside all day! Please note we will make every effort to accommodate your dietary needs or food restrictions when they are brought to our attention well in advance of your group's arrival.
