Throughout the camper's stay at Summit they should feel safe in knowing 24 hours a day, supervision is always there for them. All of our staff members are fully certified in First Aid and CPR and are equipped with the knowledge for emergency procedures in order to capably handle any situation relating to camp activities. Many of our staff have obtained advanced training and certifications for emergency medical response, lifesaving, and safety supervision. All activities are supervised by specialist instructors and trained staff.
In the event of any injury or illness, we have a camp doctor, on-call 24-hours a day and the Squamish General Hospital is located fifteen minutes from camp. Any required medications that campers bring with them will be administered and supervised by camp staff. As well, our medical team ensures the health needs of every child are met throughout their stay. Healthy and energizing meals are served by our wonderful dining hall staff, as well as snacks during the programs to keep our campers fueled.
Camp Summit is proud to meet and exceed the rigorous standards of the British Columbia Camping Association as well as the standards of the local Health and Fire Departments.
